This combined three day course is designed for students who want to gain the skills and qualifications to safely operate an excavator, skid steer and wheeled loader across the Civil Construction, Mining, Building, Facilities and Asset Management industries. By covering all three machines in one program, participants build a strong foundation in earthmoving operations and increase their versatility and job opportunities on site. First Aid CPR

This First Aid course equips students with practical, nationally recognised skills to respond to emergencies at work and home. It suits workplaces across civil construction, mining, building, facilities and asset management. You will learn the DRSABCD action plan, how to perform CPR on adults, children and infants, how to use an AED, and how to manage bleeding, fractures, burns, asthma and anaphylaxis.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) can be offered providing suitable evidence is supplied. Discuss this with our support staff prior to beginning the course. Upon completion of the course you will be provided with a Photo identification card detailing your qualifications and a certificate demonstrating a Statement of Attainment (SOA)

Cut and Core Concrete

Cut and Core Concrete

This unit of competency specifies the skills and knowledge required to safely cut concrete. It requires using concrete and masonry saws to cut concrete to specification.

A person who has achieved this unit of competency would be expected to take responsibility for organising and completing these tasks with a high degree of self-direction.

Licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply to this unit of competency in some states and territories. For further information, check with the relevant regulatory authority.

Completion of the general construction induction training program, specified in the Safe Work Australia model Code of Practice: Construction Work, is required by anyone carrying out construction work. Achievement of CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry meets this requirement.
